যেহেতু population 50% increase করে প্রতি 50 বছর, 1950 এর population 150% ছিল অথবা  $\frac{3}{2} o f 1900$  এর population  অর্থাৎ 1900 এর population 1950 এর  $\frac{2}{3}$  গুণ, আমরা  $\frac{2}{3}$  দ্বারা গুণ করে যেতে থাকব যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত 160 পাওয়া যায়।
 $1950 : 810 \times \frac{2}{3} = 540 i n 1900; 540 \times \frac{2}{3} = 360 i n 1850; 360 \times \frac{2}{3} = 240 i n 1800; 240 \times \frac{2}{3} = 160 i n 1750$
